πŸ“Œ Unsigned Documents Only

All documents must be complete and unsigned before the appointment begins. Documents that are pre-signed or have blank spaces cannot be notarized.

πŸ“Œ Identification Requirement

Per Florida Statute Β§117.05, all signers must present valid, government-issued photo identification. Acceptable IDs include:

  • Driver’s license or state ID card

  • U.S. passport or foreign passport (with U.S. immigration stamp)

  • U.S. military ID

  • Permanent resident (green) card

πŸ‘‰ ID must be current or issued within the last 5 years and must include a photo, physical description, and signature. Expired IDs cannot be accepted.

πŸ“Œ Witness Requirement

Certain documents require witnesses (such as wills, powers of attorney, and medical directives).

  • Clients are responsible for providing required witnesses.

  • Witnesses may be requested through Notary Notebook but are not guaranteed.

  • Witnesses must present valid identification. Additional fees may apply if arranged by Notary Notebook.

πŸ“Œ Notary Fees

The below is a reference point. Your total service cost will be computed and agreed upon before servicing.

  • Standard notarization fee: $10 per notarization (per Florida law)

  • Loan packages: $120-$250

  • Estate Planning Packages: $125-$250.

  • Remote Online Notarization (RON): $25 per notarization (per Florida law) + $4 for each additional seal

  • Mobile Travel Fee: $40 (and $20/15 min after 1 hour) additional per appointment (within service area)

  • Scheduling Fee: $15 non-refundable (goes towards total service)

  • Additional Charges: Convenience fees, After-hours, weekends, holidays, or witness services may include additional fees. All fees will be disclosed prior to confirmation.

  • Scan/Email or Fax Back: $10

  • πŸ“Œ Right to Refuse Service

Notary Notebook reserves the right to decline notarization if:

  • Proper identification is not provided

  • The signer does not appear competent, willing, or aware of what they are signing

  • The request is unlawful or outside the scope of Florida notarial law

All documents and personal information presented are treated with strict confidentiality. Information will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.
